Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay, I found the hotel to offer commendable value for its location and amenities. Situated just 500 meters from Lugano Lake and within walking distance to local shops and restaurants, it provides easy access for both leisure and convenience. The room was serviceable, well-maintained, and featured a robust air conditioning system, crucial for the warm Italian summer. The breakfast spread was extensive, though leaning towards sweet Italian delicacies, which may not suit everyone's palate. A considerate touch was the staff's willingness to cater to my morning coffee request with hot milk, enhancing the experience. While the hotel may not boast grand luxuries, it fulfills its promise of comfort and practicality. For short stays, it's a solid choice with friendly service and clean spaces. If planning a longer visit, however, consider upgrading to a larger room. If you're seeking a balance of cost and comfort in Lugano, this hotel serves as a reliable option without the hefty price tag.
